Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Jollyboat — the iOS app and the jollyboat.app website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Jollyboat.

Your account

You need an account to use Jollyboat. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create one. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Free and Pro accounts

Jollyboat is free to use. A free account includes one active trip with full functionality, and the City Guide is always free. A Pro subscription lifts the trip limit — unlimited active trips, access to your past trips, Pro packing templates, and Travel Stats.

Subscription terms

Jollyboat Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, billed at $9.99 per year (USD). Prices in other regions are set by the App Store and may differ.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price listed above.
• You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the period already paid for.
• Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. Refunds are governed by Apple’s policies and must be requested through Apple — we cannot issue them directly.

If a subscription lapses, your data is not deleted. You keep access to one active trip, and the rest stays in place should you subscribe again.

Your content

The trips, itineraries, packing lists, notes, and saved places you create remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service — storing your content, syncing it across your devices, and showing it to the travelers you invite. When you share a trip or a guide, you are choosing to make that content visible to the people you share it with.

Acceptable use

Use Jollyboat for planning and sharing travel. Do not use it to break the law, to upload content you have no right to share, to harass other travelers, or to interfere with the service or attempt to access accounts that are not yours.

Availability and changes

Jollyboat is provided as-is, and we cannot guarantee it will be available without interruption or free of errors. Features may change over time. If we make a material change to these terms or to what a Pro subscription includes, we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect.

Ending your use

You can stop using Jollyboat and delete your account at any time from the Account tab. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to Jollyboat is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
